General Summary

Serves as the Manager and Coordinator for all new product introductions and product improvements and has complete responsibility for maintaining and updating all pricing catalogs for all Mouser Custom Cabinetry cabinet lines. Works closely with manufacturing in determining best methods to accomplish desired results. Will head a monthly product meeting with management to gather and discuss ideas and progress and develop a tracking system for product changes and improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinator all activities and distribute information concerning new product introductions and product improvements with all Departments including all necessary documentation.
• Work closely with manufacturing in determining best methods to accomplish desired results.
• Complete responsibility for maintaining and updating all pricing catalogs for all Mouser Custom Cabinetry product lines including the Overlay Series, Inset Series, and Eurostyle Series.
• Manage the Mouser Custom Cabinetry Custom Quotes Department working thru the Custom Quote Team Leader who is responsible for day-to-day activities.
• Assist in developing sales aid items and other marketing tools.
• Develop a tracking system for product changes and improvements.
• Head a monthly product meeting with management to gather and discuss ideas and progress.
• Research and communicate to others cabinet industry trends and information. Attend the KBIS shows to help with your research.
• Coordinate with Order Services Trainer on updating construction data required to maintain the companies electronic design catalogs and proprietary pricing software.
• Willingness to take part in additional training and accept new assignments as required.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be knowledgeable of cabinet manufacturing processes and functionality of cabinetry.
• Must have exceptional people skills and be able to function in team settings as well as in individual settings.
• Must have Product Engineering experience including Autocad Software skills in a medium to large Cabinet or Furniture Company. Cabinet Vision Solid Manufacturing and/or Solid Design software skills would be a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Mouser nomenclature and overall flow of orders.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word in a Windows environment.
• Must be focused and attentive to details.
• Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines.
• Required to handle multiple priorities.

Education and Experience:

Four year college degree in a relevant field required. Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in product development, preferably within the custom cabinet industry.
